Its brand new FAKRA 2 SMB Carlock series
Based on the standard SMB interface, the FAKRA 2 is the new generation of FAKRA standard. This is the MVRF interface according to ISO/TC 2 N 2149. FAKRA 2 is only applicable to cable connectors
The advantages:
• Mateable with FAKRA 1 connectors
• Addition of a coloured plastic housing:
coding is both mechanical (combination of 2 ribs) and coloured
• COMMON CAVITY concept: compatibility of a housing and a coaxial insert of two different manufacturers
• Cost reduction in comparison with FAKRA 1
• Smaller dimensions
• Rotating capability of the insert in the housing
